Description:
This lecture will discuss the differences in the National and CMS guidelines. The required bundles can be challenging to comply with if there are not precise processes in place. Regardless of guidelines being in place for years there is still a struggle with best practices around sepsis in many hospitals. This lecture will help the listener to understand the guidelines better and give suggestions for best practices. The session will end with a hands on approach through a case study to show how fluid management can be standardized to support better outcomes for our patients.
